“I love it when a plan
comes together.”
Content & Editorial Management
Honestly, I’m no control freak (and only a casual fan of the A-Team), but what drives me is being involved in every aspect of a creative project, from conception to birth. I believe that each stage of the production process is as critical as the next; that a good editorial manager should be accountable, conscientious, and on top of all things; and that the creative process works best when it’s conducted democratically rather than dictatorially. All this because: What we put out into the world needs to be flawless. Every time. Most recently, I spent many of my waking- (and yes, even sleeping-) hours obsessing over the perfection of print and digital travel-themed content for Virtuoso, with emphasis on Virtuoso Traveler, a print and digital magazine that I edited, managed, and helped give life to every two months.
